Results in for congressional races in Louisiana, Higgins takes 3rd District

The results are in for congressional races in Louisiana. All incumbents have retained their seats for another term including Congressman Clay Higgins.

Higgins won the third congressional district seat with 56 percent of the vote.

The Associated Press has called the election of Republican Ralph Abraham has been re-elected to the U.S. House in District 5.

Republican Mike Johnson has been re-elected to the U.S. House in District 4.

Steve Scalise has been re-elected to the 1st US Congressional District in Louisiana with 71% of the vote.

Cedric Richmond (D) has been re-elected to the U.S. House in District 2.

Garret Graves, GOP, re-elected to the U.S. House in District 6.
