VERMILION PARISH
Vermilion Parish voters in Isle Marrone Gravity Drainage Dist. No. 1 decided to grant a millage continuation.
The 33.21-mill tax, which raises about $135,000 annually, is dedicated to acquiring, constructing, maintaining and/or operating gravity drainage works within the district. Voters are being asked to continue the millage for another 10 years.
The continuation passed 97 percent to three percent.
