Three locations in Lafayette became stops on a tour for voting education.
The Lafayette leg of the We Got Power Tour stopped at Guidroz Food Center on Simcoe, UL Lafayette's Campus and the MLK Center on Cora Street. The tour was put on by a coalition of local organizations with leadership from the NAACP and Black Voters Matter.
The NAACP said that local, city and parish elected officials along with candidates running for office were on had at each stop.
The tour is in an effort to share information about voting.
