On Wednesday morning, some senior shoppers in Louisiana and Georgia got a surprise from actor and director Tyler Perry.
According to People Magazine, Perry stepped up to cover the cost of groceries for shoppers at 44 Kroger stores in Atlanta and 29 Winn-Dixie stores in Louisiana.
WBRZ reports that a Winn-Dixie in Zachary was one of the stores that had their customers' grocery bills covered.
The stores, according to People, were open for elderly customers to shop while avoiding larger crowds during the COVID-19 pandemic.
