A three vehicle crash involving an overturned 18-wheeler has closed I-10 Westbound near Lobdell in West Baton Rouge Parish.
State Police say the roadway was closed beginning at 9:00 am at LA Hwy 415 for vehicle recovery.
According to WBRZ, the crash occurred around 6:00 am on Tuesday and three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Officials say that the tanker was carrying gasoline at the time of the crash, but that there do not appear to be any leaks.
Troopers say traffic is being diverted to LA Hwy 415 northbound to US Hwy 190 westbound.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area while vehicle recovery operations take place.
