UPDATE (10:15 p.m.): SLEMCO has suspended rolling blackouts.

Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) has ordered SLEMCO to begin rolling blackouts until further notice Tuesday night.
Officials say they are hopeful, but not certain, the power interruptions will only last a few hours.
Customers will be out of power for 30 minutes at a time.
Officials add that further updates will be released when they become available.
