NEW ORLEANS — A section of street in New Orleans has been closed thanks to a leaking truck filled with syrup.

New Orleans Police, according to Nola.com, say that a part of North Rampart Street will be closed overnight because of the sticky stuff, nearly 1,000 gallons of it.

According to the paper, the syrup is molasses that was going to be used to mix with livestock feed.

The eastbound stretch between St. Louis and Toulouse will be closed until 5 a.m. The westbound lanes will remain opened.

The driver was issued three citations.
