A rider is in stable condition this afternoon after a fall from a Mardi Gras float in New Orleans.
The fall happened during the Krewe of Thoth parade, according to a tweet by New Orleans EMS:
@NewOrleansEMS transports one float rider to @UMCNO Trauma Center after falling from lower level of Thoth float 16B near St. Charles Ave/Louisiana. Float rider is in stable condition.

This is the third parade-related injury reported since last week; on Wednesday a woman died after a float hit her during the Nyx parade, and last night a man died after being hit by a float during Endymion.
