Congressman Mike Johnson is in quarantine Wednesday night after coming in contact with Congressman Louie Gohmert earlier this week.
Gohmert tested positive for COVID-19 earlier on Wednesday during a pre-screening procedure at the White House, according to ABC News. He was scheduled to fly to Texas the same day with President Donald Trump.
Johnson told Fox News' Bill Hemmer that he had dinner with Gohmert Monday evening. While he is feeling healthy and exhibiting no symptoms, his physician advised him to self-quarantine for 14 days out of an abundance of caution following contact with Gohmert.
He said that he hasn't taken a COVID-19 test yet but will if the physician advises him to do so.

Johnson represents Louisiana's fourth district, which encompasses a good portion of north Louisiana, along with some of Acadiana, including Eunice, Sunset, and Ville Platte.
