A Deville man has been arrested, accused of rape and other sex crime charges.

Deputies says that on February 19, 2020 they responded to a report of criminal sexual conduct involving juveniles that occurred in the Deville area.

After an investigation, 64-year-old Ronnie Lynn Goff of Deville was developed as a suspect in the case.

Through their investigation, including interviews of the victims at the Rapides Children's Advocacy Center and with the assistance of the Louisiana Department of Child & Family Services, sufficient probable cause was established that supported the original allegations, according to Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office.

Warrants were granted for Goff's arrest in reference to Four Counts - 1st Degree Rape, Four Counts - Aggravated Crimes Against Nature, Four Counts - Sexual Battery; Victim Under 13 Years of Age, Four Counts - Indecent Behavior with Juveniles, and Two Counts - Obstruction of Justice.

On February 27th, Goff was taken into custody and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center.

His bond is set at $420,000 relating to the sexually based crimes.
