One swimmer rescued, two from Louisiana still missing in Alabama waters

The Coast Guard is actively searching for two missing people last seen swimming near Perdido Pass on Sunday.

Crews received a report at 5:54 p.m. on Sunday of three people in distress who were swimming in the vicinity of Perdido Pass.

Two swimmers are still missing. The third swimmer was recovered by a good Samaritan boat and later transferred to EMS onshore. Their condition is unknown.

The two swimmers were last seen by the East Jetty in Perdido Pass.

According to Nola.com The two still missing were identified as Ryan Guy, 28, and Darius Robinson, 22 from the New Orleans area. The rescued swimmer was identified as 28-year-old Jasmine Brundy of Chalmette

An Urgent Marine Information Broadcast was issued.
