One Dead Following Overnight Shooting In New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS — One person is dead following a shooting in New Orleans Tuesday night.

Officers say they responded to a call of shots fired around 9:23 p.m. in the 3600 block of Loyola Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 42-year-old male suffering from an undetermined number of gunshot wounds. The victim died at the scene.

This is an ongoing investigation.
