More than 2 million Louisiana voters cast ballots for President in this election, the vast majority for either President Donald Trump or Joe Biden.

But nearly 5,000 voters cast ballots for the "Birthday Party" ticket, which contained Kanye West and Michelle Tidball.

West is a musical and performing artist who at times has been a vocal Trump supporter. Tidball is a self-described "Biblical life coach" who "doesn't watch the news."

Here's how many Acadiana parish voters cast ballots for West:
Acadia: 45
Calcasieu: 164
Evangeline: 22
Iberia: 60
Jeff Davis: 22
Lafayette: 256
St. Landry: 78
St. Martin: 55
St. Mary: 52
Vermilion: 45

West's votes didn't make a dent in the vote totals; the only party that picked up any measured percentage of Louisiana's vote was the Libertarian ticket, which pulled in 21,636 votes, or 1 percent.

In the final tally, Trump took Louisiana with 58 percent of the vote, compared to Biden's 40 percent. He got the same percentage of the vote in Louisiana back in 2016.
