LSU cancels in-person and virtual classes Monday due to weather

LSU will be closed on Monday, February 15, due to the forecast of winter weather.

On Sunday, the university announced that virtual and in-person classes and activities scheduled for Monday are canceled. LSU bus services will also be suspended on Monday.

The LSU Vet School and the LSU Law Center will both hold classes virtually on Monday.

LSU is also scheduled to be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 16, for the Mardi Gras holiday.

Monday's closure includes the LSU Early Childhood Education Laboratory Preschool.

LSU Online students are asked to check with their Learner Concierge or faculty member for more information on those 100% online programs.

The university says that LSU residence halls, on-campus apartments and dining halls will remain open.

Essential employees are asked to check with their supervisors about reporting to work on Monday. Non-essential employees will not be required to report to campus on Monday.
