Louisiana State Police offered encouragement to residents as they prepare for Hurricane Laura to make landfall later tonight or early Thursday morning.
Troopers posted a photo along I-10 Wednesday evening as conditions continued to deteriorate ahead of the storm. The photo showed a State Police vehicle with a rainbow bright in the sky above and was captioned, "Stay safe everyone! Louisiana Strong! We shall persevere."
