UPDATE: The Silver Alert for Vernon Goldston has been canceled, according to Louisiana State Police. He was located and is safe.
Louisiana State Police has issued the Silver Alert on behalf of Shreveport Police Department for 87-year-old Goldston.
Goldston was last seen on Thursday afternoon around 6:30 p.m. at the Hampton Inn in Shreveport. He was seen driving a 2014 Silver Hyundai Sante Fe.
On Friday Goldston was located. No other details were released.
