LSU Quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow took to Twitter today, asking people to stay home, wash their hands and donate to food banks if they can.

"This is obviously a crazy time for everybody right now, and I think it's more important than ever to follow the directions the government lays out," he said. "Right now they're saying to stay inside, self-quarantine, wash your hands and limit the spread of this virus so we can flatten the curve a little bit and get back to a normal life."

Everybody wants to get back to normal, he said.

"We just have to do everything in our power to limit the spread of this and flatten the curve," he said.

He also asked everyone who is able to donate to food banks, because most kids who face hunger depend on school meals, and schools are closed.

He ended with "Go Tigers."
