Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents are at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport on Monday to help with a Transportation Security Administration worker shortage, according to WVUE.

The shortage is tied to the partial government shutdown, now in its sixth week, which has left TSA agents working without pay. The White House is deploying ICE agents to airports nationwide to assist with non-specialized tasks.
