Former UL Lafayette starting defensive back Sean Thomas died in a two-vehicle crash in St. James Parish on Wednesday, according to the Advertiser.
Thomas played from 2011-2014 and helped the team win their four New Orleans Bowl championships.
Former UL head coach Mark Hudspeth said that Thomas "was loved by everyone and was a great player, person, and ambassador for the University of Louisiana."
