Former State House Speaker Chuck Kleckley is now working for lobbying firm The Picard Group, according to The Advocate.
Kleckley is joining the Lafayette-based firm as Senior Director of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs. He spent 11 years in the state House representing the Lake Charles area and was a policy jury president in Calcasieu Parish.
Tyron Picard, TPG principal and founder, said that the company is "excited about the wealth of talent, insight, and statewide relationships that Chuck brings to the firm."
Kleckley was House speaker from 2012 - 2016, during Governor Bobby Jindal's second term.
