On Friday, Governor Edwards made a friendly wager with Alabama Governor Kay Ivey on the outcome of Saturday's LSU-Alabama matchup in Tuscaloosa.
The governor's office says that Edwards wagered some fresh Louisiana seafood from Tony's Seafood in Baton Rouge while Ivey has put up Alabama's famous Priester's Pecans from Fort Deposit Alabama.
On Tuesday, Gov. Edwards visited LSU football practice to offer some words of encouragement. Click hereto see the video of the governor at practice.

.@GovernorKayIvey how about a friendly wager on tomorrow's big game when my @LSUfootball Tigers take on the Alabama Crimson Tide? Though I know I won't have to cover, I'm willing to put up some fresh Louisiana seafood from @Tonys_seafood. Are you in? #lagov #LSU #GeauxTigers pic.twitter.com/CD6oPq0lV5

Ivey responded via Twitter to Gov. Edwards wager. Watch below:
.@LouisianaGov I see your #LouisianaSeafood and I’ll raise you a basket of @PriestersPecans from Ft. Deposit, AL, although I know I won’t have to send those! I look forward to having a good fish fry when the Tide Rolls in Bryant-Denny tomorrow. #RollTide #alpolitics #alabamaFTBL pic.twitter.com/RrZy5B2VsT
