BATON ROUGE — Business owners now have until May 20 to file their taxes with the Louisiana Department of Revenue.

LDR announced the extension on Thursday as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread across the state. The extension pushes back the deadline for businesses to file their returns and pay their excise taxes. The extension applies to sales, beer excise, and wine excise taxes.
