Voters have until 4:30 pm on Monday, November 2, to return a completed absentee ballot for the November 3 election.

The deadline to request an absentee ballot was Friday, October 30, at 4:30 pm.

Completed ballots can be returned to the parish registrar of voters by mail, in-person by the voter or by a voter's immediate family member by 4:30 pm on Monday, November 2.

The Secretary of State's Office says that any voter unable to meet an absentee ballot deadline can still vote in-person on Election Day.

Polling locations can be found on voterportal.sos.la.gov or on the free Geaux Vote mobile app.

Election Day takes place on Tuesday, November 3 from 6 am to 8 pm.
