Crews working to clear debris after possible tornado touches down Sunday in Mandeville

The Mandeville Police Department says that public works crews are cleaning up after an possible tornado touched down Sunday night.

Police shared photos of damage to their Facebook page of large trees down on homes and branches scattered across roadways in Old Mandeville.

According to the Department, there are no reported injuries at this time.

Crews are currently working to assess property damage in the area.

Police say affected areas appear to be around Monroe Street and Messina Street to Galvez Street and Park Street.
