The Coast Guard is searching for a person in the water near Marsh Island Monday.
The Coast Guard in New Orleans was notified about 3 a.m. that a 52-year-old man was missing from the crew of a commercial fishing boat, Guiding Light 3, about 18 nautical miles south of Marsh Island.
It is presumed that he fell overboard, officials say.
