CAMERON PARISH, La. - Here is the latest update for getting help following Hurricane Laura in Cameron Parish.

Dump Sites

Sweet Lake, Big Lake, Johnson Bayou, and Hackberry Dump sites are open today from 10:00am - 5:00pm. Klondike and Lowry are still at normal operations.

Free Detectors

Carbon Monoxide Detectors are being distributed throughout Cameron Parish Saturday, September 19 at the Tarpon Distribution site in Creole, Creole Fire temporary site behind South Cameron Memorial Hospital, Johnson Bayou Fire Station, Hackett's Distribution Site, Grand Lake High School, Hackberry Fire Station.

FEMA Sites

Drive thru FEMA registration centers are an easy and COVID-safe way to provide survivors a way to perform initial registration, some technical assistance on current registrations, and to have documents scanned into their case file.
