A "Cajun Navy" group is preparing for possible impacts from Tropical Storm Beta along the Gulf Coast.

The group, Cajun Relief, says that they are looking for volunteers to assist in relief efforts, especially those with high water vehicles and boats.

Specific needs aren't yet determined as the storm's conditions continue to change. The group is working with authorities to determine what assets will be needed, where, and when it will be safe to deploy.

The group is also still looking for volunteers for Hurricane Laura relief. No experience is necessary. There is a need for people to help the elderly, do wellness checks, and do behind the scenes work in support of those who are tarping roofs, cutting trees, clearing yards, and collecting and distributing donations.

If you want to volunteer or donate, you can visit cajunrelief.org. Follow the group on Facebook and Twitter at Go Cajun Navy.
