Bayou Country Superfest says they will be taking a break until further notice.

The announcement of a hiatus came on social media from the festival's Facebook Page. In the post, Bayou Country Superfest says that the Memorial Day weekend tradition will not continue after 10 years in the state.

Bayou Country Superfest has seen a number of changes over the years. LSU hosted the Bayou Country Superfest beginning in 2010, but due to stadium renovations the Festival relocated to New Orleans for 2017 and 2018.

For its 10th anniversary in 2019, the venue was moved back to Tiger Stadium.

After 10 years of bringing the best in country music to Louisiana, Bayou Country Superfest will be on hiatus until further notice. We thank the thousands of fans from all over the country who came to Baton Rouge and New Orleans for the party, and all of the event sponsors who helped make the Festival a Memorial Day Weekend tradition over the past decade.
