A Baton Rouge father and his two sons were arrested after the sons shot and injured a retreating man who they said had been attempting to rob them, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office told our media partners at The Advocate.

Willie Profit, 50, and his two sons, Willie Holiday, 26, and Kameron Profit, 20, were booked after shooting a man they say was trying to rob them.

Holiday is accused of pistol whipping the man, and the two younger men are accused of shooting the man after he tried to run away, the newspaper reports. The man is listed in critical condition.

The older man is accused of picking up shell casings before police arrived, the paper reports.

Willie Profit was booked with obstruction of justice, Holiday was booked with attempted second-degree murder, illegal use of a weapon, aggravated battery and obstruction of justice, and Kameron Profit was booked on one count each of attempted second-degree murder, illegal use of a weapon and obstruction of justice.
