The Baton Rouge Area Chamber is hosting the Statewide Economic Development Summit this week in Baton Rouge.
Taking place from October 22-23, the summit will "bring together economic development practitioners, the business community, elected officials, and thought leaders" focused on building a stronger economy statewide.
State regional economic development organizations will participate.
On Tuesday evening, BRAC is hosting a Fireside Chat with Governor John Bel Edwards. Today's events also included breakout sessions, workshops, and a networking reception.
Slated for Wednesday is a keynote address by Bruce Katz, presentations, panels, and thought leadership.
The summit is taking place at the L'Auberge Casino Hotel.
