After group waves assault rifles in street for rap video, police seize 15 guns

BATON ROUGE, La. - Police arrested eight people and seized 15 guns after receiving a call about people waving guns on a Baton Rouge street.

The group had been filming a rap video, according to The Advocate.

The incident occurred in the 3100 block of Pampas Street around 5 p.m. Monday. When police arrived, they saw people holding assault rifles and trying to walk away from police. Three of the weapons turned out to be stolen.

Fifteen people were initially detained and eight were later arrested, The Advocate reported. Two were booked in juvenile detention, four were booked in East Baton Rouge Parish Jail and two others were issued summonses to appear in court.
