Severe weather has been making its way across Acadiana this morning leaving some places experiencing hail and flooding.
The National Weather Service has issued several severe thunderstorm warnings for parishes as the storms push through.
A tree was uprooted at a home in Kaplan, on 4th and Boudreaux. The home received damage from the fallen tree.

Several videos have been shared with KATC of the hail in Evangeline and Iberia parishes. Video shared from Ginny Ardoin showed large sized hail coming down in the community of Vidrine around 5:00 am Tuesday morning.
A second video shared with KATC by viewer Greg Pellerin showed pea-sized hail coming down in New Iberia.
Hail was also reported in the Kaplan area around 8:10 am as storms passed through.

Flooding has also been a concern for some residents of Acadiana after constant rains poured down this morning. Lake Arthur Resident Jill Hackett shared photos of flooded Roadway near Main Street and the Catholic Church.
