A $1 million winning Powerball ticket purchased in New Orleans in August has still gone unclaimed, according to the Louisiana Lottery.

The lottery says that the ticket, which was purchased at Ideal Mart in New Orleans and won $1 million on August 25, 2018, is set to expire. The final day for someone to come forward and claim the prize is February 21 at 5:00 pm.

The ticket matched all five white-ball numbers to win the Powerball prize. The numbers for that drawing were 20-25-54-57-63 and the Powerball was 08.

The prize may be claimed at any of the Lottery’s five regional offices located throughout the state or at Lottery headquarters in Baton Rouge.

Prizes that expire without being claimed are deposited into the Lottery’s unclaimed prize fund, according to the lottery. Those funds are later returned to players in the form of increased payouts on scratch-off games and player promotions.

A list of large unclaimed prizes set to expire in the next 90 days can be found on the Lottery’s website at www.louisianalottery.com/unclaimed-prizes.
