The New Orleans Saints win over the Philadelphia Eagles tonight wasn’t close, and it turns out the loss set a record.
So far this season, it’s usually Saints QB Drew Brees who has been setting records, but tonight it was the Eagles.
When the Eagles – who won the Super Bowl in January – lost by 41 points, it was the largest defeat ever suffered by a defending champion, according to the Eagles Wire.
The Eagles’ record is now 4-6, compared to the Saints’ 9-1.
