The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office reports the arrest of a 17-year-old male for aggravated armed robbery with a weapon.
On July 9, officers responded to a call of a robbery at the Bayou Vista Truck Stop.
Detectives learned that the male entered the business, showed a knife, and demanded money from the cashier.
A search warrant was executed at the male's residence and evidence linking him to the crime was discovered. He was arrested and brought to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.
