The Shreveport Times reports that local chef Owen Osborne will compete in a Food Network competition show.
The twist is that Osborne is only 12 years old.
Osborne will be a competitor on the show that airs at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2019.
The young chef has a long history in the food industry for someone so young, including winning Michelle Obama's Healthy Lunchtime Challenge when he was only 8.
Osborne said, "this isn't the last time that you're going to see me on Food Network."
