The University of Louisiana at Lafayette says that they are working on a dashboard to report COVID-19 cases within the campus community.

Currently, details are still being worked out as to how the university will identify cases as some students will be taking all remote classes.

"Some students are taking all remote classes and don't have to tell us about their health," says Senior Communications Representative Eric Maron.

Currently, only faculty and staff need to provide a daily self-check before returning to campus for work.

UL expects the dashboard to be up within the next week.

LSU began updating the public on positive COVID-19 cases in the LSU "community" this week.So far, 22 cases have been reported since Saturday August 15, 2020. You can view their COVID-19 dashboard here.

UL Lafayette also provides an online area for COVID-19 updates. It includes back to campus guidelines and academic calendar changes. There is also an area for COVID-19 reporting for those who are positive or believe they have come into contact with someone who is positive. That can be viewed here.

Face coverings or masks are required on campus.
