UL Lafayette reports 86 positive COVID-19 cases for week ending Nov. 14

LAFAYETTE, La. — UL Lafayette has reported 86 positive COVID-19 cases for the week of Nov. 8 - 14.

According to the university's COVID-19 dashboard, 61 students self-reported a positive case, 20 students were confirmed with a new case and 5 faculty or staff members was confirmed to have a positive case of COVID-19 from Nov. 8 - 14.

These 86 cases marks the the highest week yet in the pandemic since UL started reporting cases on campus earlier this year compared to 39 for the week of Nov. 1 - 7, which marked UL's Homecoming Week.

UL has already reported 55 positive COVID-19 cases so far for the week of Nov. 15 - 21.

The UL COVID-19 dashboard does not report hospitalizations or deaths attributed to COVID-19 on campus.

On Wednesday, UL announced that its Ragin' Cajuns Football home finale against Central Arkansas on Saturday, Nov. 21, has been canceled.
