St. Mary Parish sets up COVID-19 mobile testing sites

COVID-19 mobile testing sites will be opening in St. Mary Parish on Wednesday May 6, 2020.

St. Mary Parish President David Hannagriff announced the locations on Monday which are spread throughout the parish.

The mobile test stations will have 50 test kits available on a first come, first serve basis. No pre-authorization in necessary to have a test done. Anyone wanting a test must have a Louisiana identification and be over the age of 18.

The sites opening up in the parish are below. Their times are 8:00 a.m. to noon or until test kits run out.

Wednesday May 6

Franklin Senior High School, 1491 Cynthia Street in Franklin

Thursday May 7

West St. Mary Civic Center, 1472 La 318 Four Corners, LA

Friday May 8

Patterson Junior High School, 225 Catherine Street, Patterson La

Monday May 11

Morgan City Municipal Auditorium, 728 Myrtle Street, Morgan City

Tuesday May 12

Amelia Recreation Center, 2109 Duhon Blvd, Amelia

These mobile locations will be available in the parish for several weeks according to parish officials. Dates and times for future testing sites will be announced as they are set.
