Region 4 no-cost COVID-19 testing continues

The Louisiana Department of Health and the Louisiana National Guard, along with parish and local governments, are partnering to provide no cost COVID-19 testing throughout Region 4.

All testing is from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. and you must register either online at doineedacovidtest.com or onsite (must provide a phone number and email address).

Below are the dates and locations of COVID testing from 9/28-10/2:

Sept. 28 - St. Martin Parish
St. Martinville Health Unit
303 W. Port St., St. Martinville

Sept. 29 - St. Martin Parish & Vermilion Parish
Parc Hardy
1290 Rees St., Breaux Bridge

Vermilion Parish Health Unit
2501 Charity St., Abbeville

Sept. 30 - Acadia Parish
Acadia Parish Health Unit
1029 Capitol Ave., Crowley

Oct. 1 - Iberia Parish
Ward 8 Recreation Center
803 Hubertville Road, Jeanerette

Oct. 2 - Lafayette Parish & St. Martin Parish
Lafayette Parish Health Unit
220 W Willow St., Lafayette

St. Martinville Health Unit
303 W. Port St., St. Martinville

Those visiting a testing site should wear a mask. Anyone five years of age and older can be tested. The test is a self-administered nasal swab test, and results will be available online within 3-5 days. Testing may be canceled due to weather conditions.
