LAFAYETTE, La. - Randol's on Kaliste Saloom Road held a drive thru seafood market where customers had the option of pre-ordering or choosing while in line.
Customers stayed in their cars and brought their own ice chest.
One organizer is glad to see the community support the local seafood industry.
"Since this COVID, we've been getting lots of orders so go online it comes right to your house," said Thomas Hymel. Director of Louisiana Seafood for LSU AG Center. "We thank Lafayette and the region for the support. for supporting our commercial fisherman. It's a great community to be in. Thank you."
