Parades will not be permitted in New Orleans for Mardi Gras in 2021, according to Mayor LaToya Cantrell's page on the city's website.
The Mayor addressed parades next year under the Frequently Asked Questions section of the web page.
"Parades of any kind will not be permitted this year because large gatherings have proven to be super spreader events of the COVID-19 virus."
