JEFF DAVIS — A New Iberia company was in Jennings today, providing free bleach to residents.
K&R Commercial Cleaning Solutions set up a drive thru at the Fairgrounds in Jennings on Monday to distribute the cleaning supplies. There was no cost to those who came through to pick up the cleaner.
The company filled up one-gallon containers full of bleach for those needing the supplies to help clean and disinfect.
The company hopes the distribution will help alleviate the stress of finding cleaning supplies as people continue to take precautions from the novel coronavirus.
"If I catch it now with not letting it sit 60 days or who knows with all the uncertainty how long we would be before we got work, I would rather just give it out to the community where it makes a benefit, where it makes an impact in our community," K&R president Kevin Moore said.
