The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury Medical Reserve Corps will begin accepting donations for critical medical supplies needed for the COVID-19 response efforts. This process will be facilitated in coordination with the Medical Reserve Corps, Lake Area Industry Alliance and the Region Five Health and Medical Coalition.
Needed items include:
- Surgical Masks
- N-95 Masks (Please refer to CDC PPE recommendations)
- Surgical Gowns
- Gloves
- Hand sanitizers
- Sterile wipes
- Face Shields
No supplies outside this list will be accepted at this time.
Industries, individuals, businesses or other organizations are encouraged to call 721-4025 or email covid19medsupply@calcasieuparish.gov if they are interested in donating items. The donation will be screened to ensure the items meet criteria. A time and location for delivery will then be arranged.
Medical providers in need of supplies will have an unpublished number to call and request items as needed.
