Iberia Medical Center says that COVID-19 public screenings will be held on Tuesday, April 14 at the Iberia Parish Courthouse.
Screenings will take place from 9:00 am until 11:00 am in the parking lot of the courthouse on S. Iberia Street.
The medical center says that individuals experiencing coronavirus symptoms like coughing, shortness of breath, and/or temperature greater than 100.4 degrees should attend.
Residents who are unsure if the qualify for the screening are encouraged to call 311. All medical questions about COVID-19 should be directed to the 211 call center.
Iberia Medical physicians recommend that attendees not take Ibuprofen or Advil the morning of the screening.
A current photo ID and current insurance card should be brought to the screening site.
