Habitat for Humanity is helping supporting front-line workers with a mask donation drive.

Starting this week, Habitat for Humanity is asking for the public's help in providing masks to those essential workers. They are hoping to collect at least 150 masks by Friday May 1, 2020.

The donation period may be extended based on the response.

Those looking to donate masks can call 337-261-5041 to arrange a no-contact drop off at Lafayette Habitat’s office. Find out more on the Habitat for Humanity website.

"Lafayette Habitat for Humanity is committed to supporting local front-line volunteers as they provide much needed services to vulnerable populations during this COVID -19 crisis. These volunteers are collecting and distributing food, delivering groceries and prescriptions, and so much more. We want to ensure that these volunteers can continue to operate safely, therefore we are asking for donations of homemade masks."
