Gov. Edwards updates on COVID-19 response, 10 deaths confirmed

Governor John Bel Edwards is expected to hold a press conference on Thursday afternoon.

Thursday, the Louisiana Department of Health confirmed two more deaths in the state, bringing Louisiana's total COVID-19 related deaths to 10. The total number of confirmed cases in the state is now 380.

A 44-year-old Orleans Parish resident with underlying medical conditions and a 91-year-old resident of Lambeth House died today.
