Gov. Edwards to highlight the US military's support to La. in its response to COVID-19

BATON ROUGE, La. - Gov. John Bel Edwards will join Baton Rouge Mayor Sharon Weston Broome and U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Laura Richardson, Commanding General U.S. Army North (Fifth Army) at the Baton Rouge General Hospital Mid-City on Sunday to highlight the U.S. military's support to Louisiana in its response to COVID-19.

As of Saturday, Louisiana reported 23,580 positive coronavirus cases and 1,267 related deaths.

The event will be held at Baton Rouge General Hospital Mid- City.
