Select COVID-19 testing sites that suspended services due to the possible threat from Tropical Storm Cristobal have resumed testing as of Saturday, June 13.

LDH announced last week that select community-based drive-thru sites and mobile sites would suspend testing from June 7 - June 12 because of Cristobal.

Those sites affected were planned and supported by the Louisiana Army National Guard and the Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness. The closures were due to the need for the National Guard and GOHSEP to shift operations to storm support as Cristobal approached Louisiana.

Testing at other facilities, such as nursing homes and prisons, was not affected.

Testing at the suspended sites resumed on Saturday.
