COVID-19: State update - 114,481 coronavirus cases, 3,811 deaths

As of July 30, the number of coronavirus cases reported in Louisiana increased by 1,708 and the number of deaths had increased by 42, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.

The total number of cases in the state is now at 114,481 and 3,811 deaths as of Thursday.

LDH is reporting that 74,246 coronavirus patients are "presumed recovered" (updated weekly, last updated 7/27/20).

The LDH reports that 1,524 people are hospitalized (down 20 from Wednesday). Of those, 205 required ventilators (down 16 from Wednesday).

Acadia - 2,299 cases (up 33) | 71 deaths (up 1)

Calcasieu - 5,913 cases (up 103) | 117 deaths (up 1)

Evangeline - 686 cases (up 19) | 2 deaths (no change)

Iberia - 2,126 cases (up 15) | 61 deaths (up 1)

Jefferson Davis - 934 cases (up 10) | 24 deaths (up 1)

Lafayette - 6,096 cases (up 73) | 83 deaths (up 3)

St. Landry - 2,054 cases (up 20) | 70 deaths (no change)

St. Martin - 1,461 cases (up 8) | 43 deaths (up 3)

St. Mary - 1,356 cases (up 14) | 47 deaths (no change)

Vermilion - 1,206 (up 22) | 16 deaths (up 1)

As of July 29, the number of coronavirus cases reported in Louisiana increased by 1,735 and the number of deaths had increased by 69, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.

The total number of cases in the state is now at 112,773 and 3,769 deaths as of Wednesday.

LDH is reporting that 74,246 coronavirus patients are "presumed recovered" (updated weekly, last updated 7/27/20).

The LDH reports that 1,544 people are hospitalized (down 39 from Tuesday). Of those, 221 required ventilators (up 7 from Tuesday).
